Religion Threads...
Every time there's one on General, it goes nowhere.
Just bickering on both sides, a lot of ignorance, and just general asshattery.
This is a petition to have Religion threads removed from General, and have them posted in Politics/A new Religion forum.
Comment below if you support this petition.
Have religion threads removed from general? Sure. Have them moved to politics? Nooo. Religion needs it's own forum. Maybe a debate forum or something.
The problem here is that then the people in the Politics forum will complain about it. It should just have it's own forum.

If religion threads get banned, a bunch of people will just make more religion bashing news posts or derail random threads to being about religion.

True, Sign me up! Whenever anyone posts something about religion, or the bible, people freak out. From now on, if you see a religous thread, just ignore it or alert a mod.
I support it. Atheists are a very noisy minority and im sick of it.
It's not really about what religion they are, it's just that the BBS really doesn't care about their religious beliefs.

Lol, I support this, but in all honesty, we can't really get anything accomplished with a petition. It's Tom's and Wade's site, they can do whatever they please.

All we really need is a Religion forum. Sure, it will go to hell, but at least General will be clean for a while.
This can't be done unless you also include things like no more console wars, no more conflicts between people from different countries, and other things of the like. But I support what you are saying.
I concur. I started one before, and the whole forums went apeshit over it. All I ever said was I thought Christians were silly, and three people messaged me saying I was a little asshole with no knowledge of the outside world and should get off Newgrounds (is that a paradox right there, or what?). Again, I feel I should reiterate that all I ever said in the thread that could be considered an OPINION is that I thought Christians were silly. As I showed a video featuring different Christians saying what they think the world would be like if Atheists all ran it. It was all badmouthing towards Atheists, and it was the Christians who got offended. Everybody else just laughed.
